Pisac Ruins

One of the most spectacular views of the beginning of the Sacred Valley, the Pisac ruins are very strategically located. The ruins are situated atop the hills at the entrance to the Sacred Valley. You’ll see beautiful agricultural terraces built by the Inca, a cemetery and what was once a thriving Inca city.

Pisac Market

A must see destination, this market is where you can find handcrafted and authentic souvenirs. Artisans and villagers arrive from different rural communities to offer all kind of unique fabrics, pottery, silver jewelry, and more. You can shop or just enjoy the bustling atmosphere as you watch locals go about their daily errands.

Awanacancha

An optional stop, this is a private initiative project where you can enjoy the beauty of llamas, alpacas, vicunas and guanacos. Also you’ll see the traditional Inca weaving process, which was the principal activity of families here during Inca times that continues to this day.

Ccochahuasi

Another option is the Ccochahuasi animal sanctuary. This is a shelter for species at risk of extinction, especially the magnificent Andean condor and other rescued animals.

*You must pay for the Boleto Turistico also known as BTG, the price is S/.130 soles. It’s valid for 10 days and you can visit 16 different locations in Cusco and the Sacred Valley .You can also buy a partial ticket, which is valid at fewer sites, for 70 soles.

Can we start this tour in Pisac and end in Cusco?

Yes, of course! We can pick you up from any Pisac hotel and end the tour at any Cusco hotel.

Do the drivers speak English and are there tour guides?

Our drivers speak Spanish and understand a little English. However, miscommunication is not an issue because they work on your prearranged itinerary. We have a very few English speaking drivers and their availability is limited. Drivers can walk the sites with passengers upon request but they aren’t tour guides. English speaking guides are available starting at $70 per day.

I haven’t received my booking confirmation

We usually reply within 24 hours of your booking. If you don’t receive our response please check your spam folder. If you don’t receive your confirmation at all, please submit your request again and if possible with another email address, sometimes our replies bounce back because the email address is mistyped.

Where do I expect to meet the driver at Cusco airport?

Your driver will be waiting for you at the exit from the Cusco airport holding a sign with your name. After collecting your luggage please walk outside, your driver will be there waiting for you.

Do we pay in US dollars or Peruvian soles?

You can pay for this tour in either currency, US dollars or Peruvian soles, whichever is more convenient for you. You will pay directly to your driver upon arriving to your destination.

Do I need to pay this tour in advance?

You don’t need to pay in advance or make a deposit. You’ll pay for this tour upon arriving to your destination or in advance via PayPal. In case you change your mind before the tour date, please send us a courtesy email or message to let us know that you need to cancel this booking.
